The 15th International Robot Olympiad 2013, organized by Ameribotics in the US, is the first Olympiad for robots wherein students from across the globe compete with each other in various robotic games and challenges.
In its 15 year history, this will be the first time that the event will be held in the United States. At the International Robot Olympiad, more than 1,000 students will vie against each other displaying their technical, artistic and creative talents.
Along with the competitions, the event will also feature various cultural activities and an educational conference. One of the cultural activities features the students and their robots; they will be given the opportunity to showcase their talent by telling stories through movement.
The theme for this year’s activity is “Robots in Agriculture”.
