Roboboat Competition

This year’s International RoboBoat Competition will be held from July 8 to 13, 2014 in Virginai Beach, USA.

The International RoboBoat Competition is an annual event where students compete against each other using their own Maritime Autonomous Surface Vehicles, or ASV's, to cross an aquatic obstacle course. Tasks that need to be performed are area navigation close to the shore (Littoral Navigation), channel following, and autonomous docking.

At this six day event, competitors, students and those who are into the high-tech field of maritime robotics have the opportunity to develop their skills in system engineering by conducting realistic mission using their creation in the maritime environment.

The location of this year’s competition will be the Founders Inn and Spa which is located in 5461 Indian River Road in Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA.
