  • The RobotChallenge event is a yearly international championship competition for self-made, autonomous, and mobile robots and will be held in Vienna, Austria. RobotChallenge is considered to be one of the largest robot competitions of its kind and brings together people from across the globe to share their interest in robotics and showcase their creations to a wide audience

At the event, self-made robots, mobile, and autonomous robots compete with each other, and this promotion serves as a venue for people to showcase their creations, share the latest technology and get to compete with other robot enthusiasts.

Since the beginning in 2004, more than 1,000 robots from 35 countries all over the world have joined in this robotic championship battle. Traditional competitions like Robot Sumo, Line Follower, Pucket Collect, Humanoid Sprint and Freestyle are up for grabs during the RobotChallenge competition.

Last March 2013, the promotion celebrated its 10th anniversary and has introduced the Line Follower LEGO category, aimed basically at novice competitors and creators.

RobotChallenge is a project of INNOC, the Austrian Society for innovative Computer Science and is scheduled for March 29-30, 2014, at the Aula der Wissenschaften from 10 am to 6 pm.
