Healthcare Applications

Healthcare robots and devices are used to assist in care giving and personal care.

They can, for example, support seniors who want to remain independent in daily life by helping them with bathing or getting out of bed.

Other robotic devices have been designed to assist amputees, patients with severe mobility issues or those with degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s.

Healthcare robots and robotic devices can also be used to assist medical personnel with patient care and during treatment or surgery.
