M3 KINDY
M3 Kindy is a robotic technology developed by Osaka University in Japan. It is a humanoid robot about the size of a 5-year old child that weighs 27kg. It is equiped with 109 touch sensors built around its frame for advanced sensitivity.
M3 Kindy has 42 joints and it counts among its features a speech recognition system, 2 cameras (one in each eye) and 2 microphones (one in each ear). M3 Kindy was built to study the hypothesis of a development model based on the effects of parental communication.
