Three years after Murata Boy was developed, another Murata robot was created. It was a unicycle-riding lady robot called Murata Girl. With a height of 50 cm and a weight of approximately 6 kg, it can maintain perfect balance on its unicycle as it moves around. Murata Girl has a built-in ultrasonic sensor that allows it to keep its distance from objects. It also has a camera that can be used to send live feed to the controller. Murata Girl is equipped with gyroscopes for motion control and communication modules used for data transfer. Several design advancements in 2010 has given it additional control and allowed it to cycle on an S-shaped balance beam.
