Hajime Robot 31 by Cyberdyne
Japan’s Chiba Institute of Technology, in collaboration with Cyberdyne and Tsukuba University, developed a humanoid soccer robot called Hajime Robot 31. Standing 1 meter tall and weighing 5 kilograms, the athletic humanoid robot is expected to compete in the RoboCup Japan Open 2011. With its 17 degrees of freedom, Hajime Robot 31 is expected to show off its abilities at the soccer tournament. The Chinese robot sports two onboard processors, a WiFi module, Gyro sensors, and USB port.
