The Q.bo Pro Evo robot is a completely open-source platform that has a goal of being the base for social robotics developments and artificial intelligence to promote robotics in people’s daily lives. The Q.bo Pro Evo offers an eyelid mechanism, allows the implementation of computationally heavier algorithms, and has high execution speed for algorithms as well as high fluidity of movements.
The Q.bo Pro Evo robot has a round head, mouth used to express emotions, motorized eyelids and an attractive curved shape. The robot has incredible features including face tracking, face recognition, stereoscopic vision, speech recognition, SLAM with the Xtion Pro Live, music gesture player, autonomous navigation, obstacle detection, and object recognition and tracking.
