TMSUK-4
TMSUK Company made 15 super remote-controlled robots that can actually make a purchase, 11 of which were sold to universities and research facilities where robotic engineering is taught and studied.
The TMSUK-4 made its debut in 1999, and the Japanese company improved its remote control mechanism and the robot’s DOF, setting it at 27 degrees. The TMSUK-4 can even do errands, like cleaning vegetables and go shopping when the owner is even at a distance.
This humanoid robot becomes the predecessor of the TMSUK-2 when it evolved into a 6-wheeled robot. This is the prototype of the inspection robot. With the TMSUK-4, the Japanese company just made another innovative way of using one’s cellular phone.
