Electrolux bounces back to the competitive trade of automated vacuum cleaners with the second generation of Trilobite, which it released way back in 2001. This time, Trilobite 2.0 is available with enhanced features and improved performance.

Trilobite 2.0 boasts of some 200 small improvements. Among these is the incorporation of a programmable cleaning time. This allows the automated vacuum cleaner to perform its cleaning functions at the exact time one has set them.

Trilobite 2.0 operates easily according to the cleaning mode selected. Choose from three modes - normal, quick, and spot - and see floor debris eliminated as it passes over them. It uses a smart sensor system through ultrasonic signals it sends out. This technology allows it to map the whole room as the edges are being cleaned.

The improved suction technology permits it to pick up dusts of the finest particles. The same smart sensor allows the second generation Trilobite to sense areas where it might fall, such as stairs.

Due to its size and architectural shape of rounded proportions, Trilobite 2.0 is an efficient vacuum cleaner, which can be used in stiff areas, such as underneath furniture. When it runs out of battery power, it finds its way to dock and recharge itself to gear up for another cleaning session.
