The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) Foundation, in cooperation with the United States Office of Naval Research (ONR), organizes the AUVSI Foundation and ONR's 16th International RoboSub Competition in order to advance the development of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs).
This is made possible by challenging new generations of engineers around the globe to do real-life missions in an underwater environment. During this annual event, young engineers, robot enthusiasts (especially those engaged in AUVs) and the organizers share ideas and bond together while discussing the issues affecting AUV technologies.
This event is open to amateurs, students and young engineers from all over the world who are interested in the field of Autonomous Unmanned Vehicles.
