Corning’s robotic training seminars are open to the public for this one-day event that will be held in Corning, NY, on May 14, 2015.
Attendees will be able to learn about robot safety and risk assessment during two sessions hosted by Corning between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Corning Learning Center.
The Robot Safety Standard and Robot Risk Assessment Training Seminar will include two programs:
Robot Safety Standard
The a.m. seminar offers an intensive introduction to all of the most crucial elements of the ANSI/RIA R15.06 2012 Robot Safety Standard. Attendees will learn about the new ISO 10218 Standards, and they will receive basic instructions about robotic application safety guidelines. This will include learning how to identify and apply the key robot safety standard elements during daily operations.
Robot Risk Assessment Training
In the p.m. session, participants will be taught how to go through every risk assessment stage in the ANSI/RIA R15.06 Robot Safety Standard. This includes identifying possible hazards and necessary tasks, determining how to apply risk reduction requirements, finding and validating risk reduction solutions and properly documenting each risk assessment.
Out of town attendees who will be staying in a hotel can receive the discounted rate of $125 plus tax at the Radisson Hotel Corning located at 125 Denison Parkway East by calling 607.962.5000 and mentioning the promo code CORNING.
This one-day seminar is presented by the Robotics Industries Association and hosted by Corning Incorporated. The instructor of both sessions is Jeff Fryman.
