Blue Ocean Robotics is a company with the mission to bridge the academic-based research & development world and the business and market world by focussing on commercialising robotics Research & Development.

Even though there is a large amount of robotics research and development activities taking place, there is only a small fraction of the results which eventually leads to commercial products or services. This imbalance between the amount of money and effort put in these robotics projects and the limited commercial results creates huge business opportunities.

Since vast amounts of robot technologies have been developed over the years, lots of new robotic products could be built and successfully launched into market. This challange is the core mission and strategy of Blue Ocean Robotics.

Blue Ocean Robotics' methodology originates from the Scandinavian design-tradition which uses cross-disciplinary, end-user participatory, design-based, collaborative teaming up with the right people. By doing so, they maximize the usage of available resources and achieve sustainable and effective results.
