The Institute of Mathematical Machines (IMM) is a research and development institution working in the field of computer science since 1957. The IMM aims at developing, applying, as well as disseminating innovative ICT technologies.
Staffed by 80 people, the main sectors of research and development in the IMM are: e-learning and e-training systems and services; application of simulation and modeling technologies; information systems for enterprises (small and medium) and state administration; documents management systems; security systems and biometric technologies development; and semantic technologies development. The institute also provides specialized training (e.g. on e-learning and .NET technology) and ECDL (European Computer Driving License) courses.
IMM is currently involved in project TIRAMISU, in which, it will contribute to tools for training and Mine Risk education.
