Established in the year 2000, ISMB or the Istituto Superiore Mario Boella stands as an institute for innovation and applied research focused on Information & Communication Technologies. The Institute depends on technology and expertise to process around 150 researchers who work in close collaboration with the academia, government and business.
In the year 2011, this Institute worked to extend its scope of processing innovation by focusing more on the European agenda’s priority issues. This main goal behind this development is to improve technological excellence as well as accomplishments by Research Areas under the Strategic Programs that typically need soft skills. Focusing on process innovation, this institute has developed expertise in analyzing different business models that are important for ensuring the sustainability of innovative systems.
Later in the year 2013, ISMB further updated its organizational structure with the intent of accomplishing major objectives like consolidating the Research Areas’ programs by combining focus and skills. The institute aims at developing and improving the Strategic Programs, enhancing the relationships with stakeholders at both internal and external level.
