PROFILE

  • Lacquey offers robot grasper solutions for the food and non-food sector. The robotic hands that mimic the human grasp can handle different sizes and shapes. Since they are developed to work with fragile objects, the products of Lacquey are perfect for handling fruit and vegetables. Grippers also provide automation for repetitive manual labor.

Different grippers are developed for different products. All the grasping hands from Lacquey use the patented underactuation technology. It allows the hands to select perfect placement for the fingers depending on the shape of the object that is supposed to be picked up. This works without the use of any kind of sensors. Due to high quality parts, the grippers work for at least five million cycles.

For the non-food sector, Lacquey has developed a fetch hand, which is a fully functional robot hand with three articulated fingers. It has an easy command system and the possibility to adapt to different sizes and shapes. In the food sector, Lacquey has four different kinds of gripper models developed for different food products. The difference lies in the number of fingers and the size. There is a model with eight fingers, which works optimally with longer products such as grape vines. Other models are better suited for round or small objects.
