Based in Wroc?aw, Poland, the Military Institute of Engineer Technology, also known as WITI, specializes in the research field as well as development projects. The institute also has core competencies in implementation works for the military industry as well as state defence.
The institute is committed to providing top-quality equipment and armament for the defence sectors in Poland, including minelaying, explosives, mines and their accessories, mineclearing, detection and breaching tools, generators and mobilepower stations; water quality assessment and water abstraction. Other sectors covered by the Military Institute of Engineer Technology include camouflage, field fortifications, engineer machines, roadworks, and deception along with engineer reconnaissance tools, bridging as well as crossing systems.
The Military Institute of Engineer Technology also plays an important role in FP7’s TIRAMISU project. As a partner of the TIRAMISU project, the institute is responsible for meeting end users’ requirements, providing tools for training, tools for disposal, tools validation as well as Integration.
