NISSAN developed a biomimetic car robot called BR23C. Nicknamed 'Bee', it uses Laser Range Finder, and decelerates and turns sharply 90 degrees when detects an obstacle.
Nissan developed EPORO which is a group of anti-collision robots. They move in group like a school of fish does, circumvent obstacles and do not collide with each other.
Pivo-kun is the robotic guiding agent for Nissan's Pivo 2 electric concept car. It guides drivers using GPS, and keeps them alert by talking and nonverbal communication.
