SAC Netherlands is a Vision Competence Center (VCC), which offers technical solutions for a broad variety of companies. They have their own lab where they research and develop robust robotic solutions for industrial questions. This lab has a permanent 3D base available which functions by using structured lights. The lab is also equipped with a large number of different light sources like UV and telocentric light.
SAC works and develops products for the automotive, food, sheet metal and many more industries; for example, some well-known German car manufacturers. They developed a robot system performing the supervision and assembly of plastic components of the interior of a car.
SAC also developed and uses VisionTechnology, which means guiding production flows with a set of cameras in different types of scale; from checking sizes on the millimeter to paving a new square with the help of a camera guided machine.
