Established in 2008, Solar Pool Technologies, Inc (SPT) is dedicated to bringing eco-friendly and solar powered pool maintenance and cleaning solutions to consumers. The company aims at introducing products and technology that will create the possibility of removing swimming pools from the electrical power grid. SPT has launched its first product known as the Solar-Breeze robotic pool skimmer, and is on its way to introducing more solar-based products for pool filtration and cleaning.
The Solar-Breeze is a solar powered, smart robotic swimming pool skimmer that will help pool owners save energy, money and time while cleaning their pools. The pool skimmer operates on internal storage batteries that are charged by sunlight during the day, which is why it can function for several hours even after sunset making use of the power it has stored. It chlorinates and cleans the pool, removes 90 to 95% of debris from the pool’s surface and saves hundreds of bucks per year in electricity bills.
