Established in 1960, The King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) is Thailand’s leading technology academy that focuses not only on the teaching and research in engineering and technology but in serving the industry as well.
KMUTT created Ka-Nok, a humanoid autonomous striker robot. With its tracking camera, accelerometer, gyros and a light-weight body, this robot can effectively track a football and kick it.
KMUTT developed the Phoenix which is a soccer-playing robot. This lightweight humanoid robot has servomotors, sensors, camera and microprocessor which generate its movement.
