We at Robomodix believe that Alan will be an evolutionary step towards modern day social robots. He is designed to be interactive, engaging and responsive. Alan becomes a part of the family by communicating through speech synthesis, voice recognition and tracking. He can take on tasks such as facial and object recognition creating databases of family members and surroundings. Internet access adds abilities such as web query, chat robotics, GPS directions and games.
