Evryon

Evryon, which stands for Evolving Morphologies for Human-Robot Symbiotic Interaction, is a project that aims to develop wearable robots. These robotic devices, or exoskeletons, could subsequently be used for rehabilitation, assistance and more.

The idea is to develop these suits and test them on elderly people who lack motor function and strength due to old-age, to see if they work properly and if such a suit would be acceptable to wear. As with many exoskeleton projects, the objective here is also to make the suit lightweight and power efficient. 

Evryon is a research project funded by the European Commission in the Seventh Framework Programme.
