Team Tech United is the robotics team from the University of Eindhoven that participates in the RoboCup. Around 80 members of this team work to get their robots ready to play soccer, take care of people or to closely mimic human movements.
Even though this Tech United project can offer students a chance to bring their knowledge into practice, the team does not solely consist of students. Students are mixed with ex-students and even staff members of the university to create a knowledge pool as large as possible.
The team has the goal to become world champions every year they participate in the RoboCup. They came really close with a second place in the soccer tournament, where they were barely defeated by a Chinese team.
