  • The Korean Institute of Science and Technology, together with Samsung Electronics, introduces Ahra, the female counterpart of Mahru. This orange Fembot (Female Robot) is not left behind in any way with specifications. She is a network-based humanoid that stands 1.5 meters, weighs 67 kilograms and walks at 0.9 Km/Hour. This femme fatale recognizes voices, images, objects and gestures. She is quite energetic with her 48V-20A Lithium Polymer Battery.  Indeed, Korean Ahra by KIST is not just good looking, Mahru & Ahra are the smartest humanoid robots.

Ahra has stereo cameras in her eyes, a microphone in her chest, a pose sensor in her waist, and force & torque sensors in both wrists and ankles. This voice/image recognition, coupled with sight-based manipulation, is considered an advanced artificial intelligence that allows for friendly interaction with humans. She can walk forward and turn left or right when obstacles or objects are in front of her.  Ahra can remember faces and follow instructions. Her smell depends on her mood.
