The latest entertainment robot from SONY, AIBO ERS-7, is smarter and more useful this time. This robot dog is capable of speaking 1000 words and capable of understanding 100+ words. Although this little fellow has no blood line coming from Spain, it knows how to speak some Spanish. This toy is only available in white.
The AIBO ERS-7 uses a short-term memory system for smart interactive play, and comes with built-in wireless connectivity. Interesting features like scheduler, newsreader, music player and diary can be found in this Sony AIBO model. It can also hold diaries with pictures, read blogs or emails for its owner and is capable of photo and video recording. AIBO ERS-7 is far more intelligent than one’s usual canine.
In addition, this pet robot has an infrared distance sensor in its head and body, pressure sensors in its chin and paws, electric static sensor on its head and back and temperature and acceleration sensor. AIBO ERS-7's size is 7.1 inches x 10.9 inches x 12.5 inches, and weighs 3.5 lbs.
