AILA, the German Fembot, was created by the DFKI Bremen. With all her curves in the right places and an awesome haircut, this humanoid robot looks more like a female than other Fembots in the world of robotics.

Although AILA Robot stands as a six-wheeler instead of being long-legged, she is very mobile; she can turn and move in all directions. She utilizes SemProM, or Semantic Product Memory, to have a better grasp on objects around her. Using the two laser finder, 3D camera and stereo vision, AILA robot can easily adjust her grip depending on the type, fragility, shape and weight of a particular object.

Additionally, AILA Robot has her own RFID Reader to scan objects in her hands, provided the same objects have an RFID tag.
