Developed by Aisoy Robotics, Aisoy1 is a pet-robot that is considered as an emotional learning robot, which is aimed at making users’ lives funnier and easier. Aisoy1 is an inexpensive educational platform for learning, programming and playing social robotics and artificial intelligence.
Aisoy1 works with ROS over linux, based on raspberry pi, and is easily programmable making use of Aisoy tools, such as Airos1 SDK for C++ and python and AIDA. Although Aisoy1 is an entertainment robot, it is capable of complex processes as well. The pet robot can recognize the user, perceive its surrounding and understand what other people are doing.
The social robot can function on its own as it is designed to live just like other living beings. Aisoy1 has emotional capacities, such as love, enjoyment, appreciation and freedom. Moreover, the robot can not only learn from its mistakes but it can also modify its behaviour and develop values with time.
