In 2008, Nomumu created a humanoid robot named AMATERAS. It is included in the top ten robots of the ROBO-Fight team, which faced the ROBO-Masters team in the ROBO-One battle arena.
AMATERAS is reminiscent of the typical girls usually seen on Japanese anime. In fact, looking at this fembot will remind any anime fan of Kikiyo from Inu-Yasha or Ayeka from the Tenchi-Muyo series.
During the Robo-One battle staged in Osaka, AMATERAS led the fortune-drawing ceremony. The humanoid robot was seen by the eager children and robot enthusiasts holding and shaking a wooden box. From this box comes a stick with a number. The number is then matched with a fortune that is great for children.
