While still working on his Android 6, James Bruton thought of creating a completely different prototype of his androids. With this vision in his mind, he worked on Android 7 – a cross between Android 3 and Android 6.

The legs of Android 7 are quite similar to the legs of Android 3; however, wiper motors were used in its body to pull cables to the leg joints. Due to this mechanism, it can spindle more than Android 6. These characteristics earned this humanoid robot the name “Mr. Stick Legs”.

Android 7 sports a reduced motor count used for mobility. The legs are absent of motors, but it can bend further and be used for getting up and down stairs. The body is hinged at the waist, allowing it to shift its center of gravity, either backwards or forwards.
