AR – 100
With its mission to produce humanoid robots that can provide various services to Russians, the Moscow-based Android Robotics Corporation, in cooperation with OmegaDigital, successfully launched AR-100 in 2007. Its first prototype was dubbed Dobrynya.
AR-100 robots are built with aluminum and plastic materials, advanced system software, and electronics integrated by OmegaDigital. AR-100 humanoids are made to imitate human movements.
Several of the AR-100 robots are now being utilized for educational purposes. Some are being used in exhibitions and forums as entertainment robots. This is possible due to the capability of these humanoids to dance, ski, and imitate other human acts.
