AR Series : AR 600

AR 600 is a humanoid robot developed by Android Robotic Corp. of Russia. AR 600 stands 140 centimeters and weighs 50 kilograms. Android Robotic Corp. introduced this tactile robot during the robotics exhibition in Moscow. Just like the robot Asimo from Japan, AR 600 is an android robot aimed to perform fluid, human-like movements. Although the robot is known by its model name - AR 600, it is also known as I-van, which sounds more Russian than the former. This Russian robot is a safe and efficient household partner.

Features:

• Detects objects 15 centimeters away and the ones in contact with it through its 100 tactile sensors placed all over its body
• Has less risk of injuring bystanders with the use of its ultrasonic range detectors and accelerometers
