Arimoplena
Arimoplena was the entry of the Sumii family in the 2008 ROBO-ONE competition in the robot helper category. It succeeded in receiving first place in this category, where it triumphed over FIVE by Robot Force and Dynamizer by the Sugiura family. FIVE won second place, while Dynamizer landed in third place.
Arimoplena was considered the most stable robot for the category during the competition. The supreme camera for its vision system, and the audio and manipulation techniques used, were notable to everyone. What really made this robot stand out amongst its competitors was the constant sound it generates as it moves. This made the people at the competition immediately aware of the robot’s presence. It also informed the people of the things it was going to do, or was currently doing.
