Arne robot was developed by the students at St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University and was funded by the Russian company, New Era. The name of the robot stands for ‘Anthropomorphic Robot of New Era’ and was developed in year 2003.
Arne stands 4 feet tall and weighs 61 kilograms. It can walk independently and avoid obstacles easily. This humanoid robot is capable of remembering and distinguishing objects. It can also respond to 40 separate voice commands instantaneously. Arne is capable of synthesizing its own voice. This Russian robot comes in the color of white and blue.
