Husqvarna Garden Robotics has taken countryside life a smart step up with its Automower Solar Hybrid Robot, a hybrid robot designed to mow lawns larger than a half-acre. Measuring like a piece of 28 X 21 X 12-inches, the Automower Solar Hybrid robot was carefully created to be an automated lawn-mowing genius programmed to perform 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Integrated with state-of-the-art sensors, this solar hybrid is capable of trimming an entire lawn, even if slight ground disturbances are present. In addition to using a rechargeable NiMH 18V Battery, the Automower Solar Hybrid is capable of utilizing the rays of the sun with the 12-watt photovoltaic solar cell panel mounted on its back. When the robot needs extra juice to pump its energy, it locates and finds its way back to the charge station on its own, using a signal emitted by the station.
