AV Mascot Robot is a prototype audio-visual assistant developed by Hitachi to improve an individual’s TV viewing experience. This Japanese model Bot-Chan serves as an intelligent user interface capable of program recommendation through analysis of one’s viewing history. This prototype robot has multi-modal interface and multi-modal conversation platform that further makes the experience an excellent one.
