  • Banryu HRS-Q11 robot is a model co-developed by TMSUK and Sanyo. The Banryu HRS-Q11 robot is a four-legged dragon robot designed for household monitoring and security. Although Sanyo produced some versions for entertainment, the larger bulk of the robot has property protection features like face recognition, sound sensors, obstacle sensors and temperature sensors.

    The security version stands 2 feet tall and weighs 77 pounds, while the entertainment version of Banryu stands 3 feet tall and weighs 79 pounds. Banryu HRS-Q11 can recognize faces and respond to voice commands. This robotic piece can greet visitors, say something about a product and play games using its enhanced voice synthesis. Banryu HRS-Q11 is suited for house security purposes using its built-in features.
