Banryu Series : Banryu T7S Type 1

  • Banryu T7S Type 1 is a house security robot developed by TMSUK together with Sanyo and Omron. This guard robot is one of the two dino-robots created by TMSUK in 2002. Banryu T7S Types 1 was designed based on the dinosaur ‘Stegosaurus’.

    Banryu T7S Type 1 uses the dynamic type walking with a speed of 3 meters per minute which was developed by the Takanishi laboratory of Waseda University. This security robot can be controlled using a cell phone from afar. It can also understand and respond to simple voice commands, e.g. turn right, turn right, and go.
