BN-17
The Japanese company Bandai unveiled a small robot, the BN-17, during the IREX 2005 held in the country’s capital city of Tokyo. This ultra nice robot can clean for you, but the main purpose for developing this robot was to make it a companion robot.
However, some modifications were made to the BN-17, allowing it to become a security robot, cleaning robot, and as a bonus, a robot that can check emails. The BN-17 robot can also recognize people’s faces. No plan to make this robot on a large scale has been disclosed by the company.
