  • Michael Overstreet, a top-notch humanoid developer at Hitec Robotics, created a wrestling humanoid called Boomer. Driven by electric power, this bipedal walking robot has entertained audiences at various robotic competitions with its punches and kicks. It also has a 3D printing capability in its body and shell.

Boomer is actually the “reborn” version of Overstreet’s original humanoid robot, Robonova. Robonova was unexpectedly stolen from Overstreet’s car when it broke down one day.

Boomer has already appeared in several robotics competitions, such as the ComBots Cup II, Maker Faire, RoboGames in 2007, Hitec Robotics Cup, and RoboGames in 2008. Through these competitions, Overstreet showed the public what Boomer was capable of doing.

    Features:

    • Bipedal walking
    • Electric-powered
    • Autonomous behavior
    • Custom 3D printed brackets, chest, and head
