Chongkho I is a humanoid robot developed by Team BSRU. Like the other humanoids the team developed, it was composed of mechanical hardware, sensors, and computing software. These components give it skills and features for top-level robotics’ competitions.
Like the Bioloid, Chongkho I had 19 TTL networked servo-motors. It also had 3-axis accelerometers and a single lens JPEG camera used for its vision system. Its main computer was a MINI2440 Development Board, based on the Samsung S3C2440 microprocessor. Simple movements, such as walking, turning, recognizing a ball, getting and shooting the ball, were enabled through various commands implemented in its programming. It is also qualified for robot soccer matches.
