A Samurai robot was created by Japanese companies JR Propo and Matsuyoshi Dolls based on the Samurai Date Masamune, who established Sendai city in Japan. This Date Masamune robot looks like a typical Japanese samurai complete with sword and body armor

Standing 67 centimeters tall and weighing 10 kilograms, the Date Masamune miniature robot is tasked to appear at the 23rd industrial exhibition in Higashi, Osaka. Although Date Masamune comes with a price tag of 1 million yen ($12,300 dollars), developers JR Propo and Matsayushi Dolls do not plan to sell the samurai robot. The Japanese robot can be rented for events and expos, however.
