    John Hopkins Medical Institution and InTouch Health, Inc. created a robot that resembles a human torso, called Dr. Robot. This robot was designed to help patients link with their physicians and enjoy remote interactions.

    Through this robot, patients can teleconference and interact with their doctors from far away. This is possible with an Internet connection or by a wireless network.

    Dr. Robot is considered by its manufacturer as the world’s first remote presence robot. They hope that one day, with this robot, they can fill the gaps and help medical experts.
