Dynamaid

Aside from the Robo Cup 2009 @ Home Competition, Nimbro, of the University of Bonn, created a service robot called the Dynamaid, that one day could help humans with their domestic chores. This robot is also a robot platform for research on domestic service functions.

Dynamaid is equipped with eight steerable wheels, allowing it to move in any direction. Additionally, with its stereo speakers and microphones, Dynamaid is capable of many modes of communication. It can also recognize when humans are in its environment and synthesize speech.
