E0 is a prototype robot developed by Honda in 1986 and kept secret until 1996. It is designed to walk on two feet.
Although E0 walks slowly, 1 step every 5 seconds, the biped robot is a milestone in the world of robotics. Weighing 16.5 kilograms and standing at 101.3 centimeters, E0 has 6 degrees of freedom.
Honda’s developers aspired to create a much faster robot capable of walking on uneven grounds. After E0 robot, newer versions were developed.
