Developed by researchers of French company EOS Innovation, E-One robot is a monitoring robot capable of patrolling and remotely monitoring. EOS Innovation said that the E-One robot is still in its experimental stage, but was created and designed to patrol on its own and alert its owner to any suspicious activities it detects. The French company, which was founded in 2010, also said that this monitoring robot will be capable of helping elderly, disabled, and physically challenged people and watch over small children in the near future.

Several sensors are installed on this monitoring robot, eight of which are ultrasonic and four that are infrared, allowing it to detect obstacles. Despite its diminutive size, it carries a battery that can run for up to four hours when fully charged, something that its developers are looking at extending to several hours more. Currently, EOS Innovation’s researchers are looking forward to further developing the robot’s speech and visual recognition capabilities.
