Researchers at the Chalmers University in Sweden created a simplified, scaled model version of a full-sized humanoid, which has similar dimensions of a human, called Elvina.

This robot is fully autonomous, and is installed with a power supply and computer. It has a total of 14 degrees of freedom, but after some modifications its degrees of freedom was increased by 10, making the total 24. The modifications resulted in a larger, more durable robot platform, while its mechanically designed concept technically remained the same.
