Robo-Engine’s Hirofumi Nakano created a small, lightweight humanoid robot - the EMMA-U0A robot.

Standing 22 cm high, this robot weighs only 850 grams. Although this humanoid is quite small and lightweight, it still possesses 23 degrees of freedom (DOF).

The developer of this Japanese humanoid robot also designed and fabricated ball bearing races for all vital, load bearing joints. Moreover, this humanoid robot can use its arms when lifting objects and can execute a "back-drop" move like that of a professional wrestler.

The EMMA-U0A robot was built with a GWS servo, which is more affordable than many other servos.

    EMMA-U0A Features:

    • Humanoid
    • Bipedal
    • Lightweight
    • Lifts object
    • GWS servos
