Fish Project
The Materials and Manufacturing of Ontario, Canada, backed a group of students from the Queen’s University in creating and in designing a fully autonomous robot fish. This school project, known as their Fish Project, proved to be an award-winning robot.
The robot is capable of swimming inside an aquarium, aided by servomotors which serve as its fin propulsion. Installed with IR sensors, this robot is able to avoid obstacles and bumping itself into aquarium walls. These features are guided by an onboard microcontroller.
