  • Tsukuba University developed twin robots that are both called Gemini. The twin robots are designed as museum guides.

These two museum guide robots are different from typical guides in their way of guiding. Instead of giving sequenced storyline for each of the museum exhibits, the twins talk to each other on every exhibit that they pass.

Museum visitors learn by eavesdropping, not by normal listening; it is said that a normal human learns more by the former way than the latter.

    Features:

    • Voice synthesis feature allows the robots to talk to each other
    • Voice command detection software facilitates Gemini robots interaction
    • Pair of arms allow gross and fine motor movement
    • Strides on wheel-driven platform for efficient navigation
